Cancellation policy
1. Subscription Type and Minimum Term
The Glowtone subscription is a recurring monthly subscription with a minimum commitment period of three (3) consecutive months.
The subscription itself is billed at the regular full retail price.
A separate and independent promotional subscription discount may be applied only to the first subscription month and only to the regular full retail price of the individual product.
This promotional discount is not part of the subscription price and is not combined with any checkout discounts or offers.
From the second subscription month onward, all charges are billed at the regular full retail price.
The minimum commitment period applies regardless of any promotional discount.
During the minimum commitment period, the number of products delivered per month corresponds to the quantity selected at checkout.
Deliveries are made monthly to the shipping address provided at checkout.
2. Billing Date and Payments
Subscription payments are charged monthly in advance and are generally processed on the 1st day of each calendar month.
If a subscription is purchased within seven (7) days prior to the 1st, the first payment is charged immediately, and the next billing occurs on the 1st of the following month.
By subscribing, you authorize Glowtone to automatically charge your selected payment method for all subscription fees, shipping costs, taxes, duties, and related charges.
3. Cancellation During Minimum Commitment Period
You may submit a cancellation request at any time, including during the initial three (3) month minimum commitment period.
Any cancellation submitted during this period will only take effect after the full three (3) months have been completed.
The subscription will continue to bill and deliver for the entire minimum term.
4. Cancellation After Minimum Commitment Period
After the minimum commitment period, the subscription will either:
• automatically terminate if a cancellation request has already been submitted, or
• continue month-to-month if no cancellation has been submitted
IMPORTANT:
The subscription does NOT end automatically after the minimum commitment period.
You must actively cancel to stop further charges and deliveries.
After the minimum commitment period, the subscription may be cancelled at any time with at least three (3) days’ notice before the next billing date.
No partial refunds, credits, or prorated charges are issued for any billing period already started.
5. Refunds and Returns for Subscription Products
Subscription products are non-refundable once shipped.
Due to the consumable nature of the products, returns or refunds are not accepted for reasons such as preference or change of mind.
Exception:
If a subscription product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact Glowtone promptly so the issue can be reviewed and resolved.
This rule applies independently of the minimum commitment period.
6. Method of Cancellation
Cancellations must be submitted exclusively through the customer’s Glowtone account using the official self-service cancellation function provided within the account dashboard.
Cancellation requests submitted via email, contact forms, social media, or any other external or unofficial channel will not be accepted or processed.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the cancellation is properly submitted and confirmed within the customer account prior to the applicable deadline.
7. Address and Customer Information
You are responsible for ensuring that all shipping and contact information is accurate and up to date.
Changes must be submitted before the next billing and shipping cycle.
Glowtone is not responsible for delivery failures caused by incorrect information.
8. Shipping, Delivery and Risk of Loss
All delivery dates are estimates only and not guaranteed.
Risk of loss passes to the customer upon handover to the carrier.
Glowtone is not liable for delays or losses caused by third-party carriers, customs, or events beyond its control.
9. Prices, Taxes and Duties
All prices are clearly displayed before checkout is completed.
Any subscription discount applies only to the first subscription month and only to the regular full retail price.
Bundles, sets, and promotional prices are excluded from subscription discounts.
Prices exclude taxes, VAT, customs duties, and import fees, unless stated otherwise.
The customer is solely responsible for such charges.
10. Product Availability and Substitutions
Glowtone may substitute products of equal or greater value or delay or cancel deliveries due to availability or operational constraints.
11. Right to Modify or Terminate Subscription
Glowtone may modify, suspend, or terminate the subscription program, products, pricing, or terms at any time.
Where required, reasonable notice will be provided.
Continued use of the subscription constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
Glowtone may terminate a subscription immediately in cases of payment failure, fraud, abuse, or material breach.
12. No Warranties
All products are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.
13. Limitation of Liability
Glowtone shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid during the three (3) months preceding the claim.
14. Force Majeure
Glowtone is not liable for failures or delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or governmental actions.
15. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Unauthorized chargebacks may result in immediate suspension or termination of the subscription.
Glowtone reserves the right to recover fees and losses arising from such disputes.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of Germany.
17. Severability
If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain fully enforceable.
18. Survival
Payment obligations, liability limits, and governing law provisions survive termination.
19. Entire Agreement
This Subscription Policy constitutes the entire agreement between you and Glowtone regarding the subscription.
